Slackline

Slacklining is a recent sport that at first glance resembles tightrope walking.

However, it is clearly distinguished by the use of elastic polyester webbing. There are no pendulum-type accessories and the slack is not stabilised. The webbing used, known as ‘slack’, is stretched between two anchors. A tensioning system is used to facilitate its installation. This facilitates practice in natural or urban environments, or even indoors.

A sense of balance

This versatility has played a significant role in the development of slacklining, encouraging slackliners to adapt the discipline to their preferences. The elastic, dynamic nature of the slackline invites you to progress with a sense of balance, but also to perform countless tricks using rebound, which makes it similar to a long, narrow trampoline.

An excellent way to concentrate

This sport is related to climbing, surfing, snowboarding, longboarding and gymnastic apparatus, and can also be used as a means of concentration.
