Specialities of the Ardèche
- Caillette: A terrine made from pork, chard (or other green vegetables) and aromatic herbs. It can be eaten hot or cold.
- Picodon: A PDO (Protected Designation of Origin) goat’s cheese with a pronounced flavour that can be enjoyed at different stages of ripening.
- Chestnut cream: The Ardèche is famous for its chestnuts. Chestnut cream is a sweet paste used in desserts, such as the famous chestnut cream Christmas log.
