Les Valadous

Les Valadous rises to an altitude of 1,544 metres in the Ardèche, in the commune of Astet, France. It is the highest point of the Croix de Bauzon greenhouse. The Croix de Bauzon is also a great little ski resort in the Ardèche. Nearby is the cross-country ski station at Col de la Chavade.

This Ardèche summit offers a magnificent panoramic view of the Tanargue massif near Aubenas in the Ardèche. It is reached via the Col du Pendu. The video above was filmed with a drone to show the sheer scale and exceptional beauty of the scenery. Mountains and forests as far as the eye can see, interspersed with narrow plains.

Itinerary Mas de la Fontenette – Les Valadous

Allow an hour and a half by car to reach Les Valadous from Mas de la Fontenette, our 4-star gite in the Ardèche gorges, with heated swimming pool and wellness area (jacuzzi, sauna, exercise bike, table football and petanque area). Of course, boules are provided.
